Eleven parents were in attendance. The calendar for meetings for rest of the year was distributed.
The sales forms will be distributed January 8, 2012 and need to be returned by February 5. Brochures will be given to the youngest child in the family. Families are free to take one per child or any extras they need. Sales announcements will be sent to both Shuls for inclusion in their newsletters and Shabbat bulletins. There was discussion on how to reach other locations with advertisements of our sale.
It was decided that the "push" for this year's fund raising would be to provide computer access to the classrooms.
Regretfully, Alan had nothing to report on a wine tasting. He will continue to investigate this as a fund raiser. Selling coffee was also discussed. A craft fair next December was discussed.
The board was lukewarm on the idea of two day a week classes. The 2012-13 school year will maintain the three day a week schedule we used this year.
JCRC Food Donation bags were distributed this morning. They should be returned on Sunday, January 8.
